Another calendar year is nearly over and Christmas is fast approaching—this year has certainly whizzed by!
Winter Music Festival
A quick reminder that our Winter Music Festival is coming up soon. If you would like your child to take part, we do need your permission. Please let us know as soon as possible if they would like to be involved. It is always so much fun to see how creative everyone can be with their music and Videos, and we can’t wait to see what surprises we get this year.
Student News & Achievements
🎻 Congratulations to Sophie Cole
Sophie has recently taken her Grade 8 Violin exam. This level requires a tremendous amount of preparation, and both Sophie and Tiago have worked incredibly hard over the past few months. We wish her the very best with her results.
🎸 First Paid Gig for Two Adult Students
Two of Steve’s adult students Alex and Tom, recently performed their first paid gig with their band, The DC’s, at the Horse and Groom in South Wimbledon. Claire and Steve attended and were thrilled with their fantastic performance. The band has now secured a regular spot at the pub in the coming months—well done all!
🥁 Drumathon Success
Another of Steve’s students, Casper, took part in a Drumathon event at Metronome in Morden, playing bass and thoroughly enjoying the experience.
🎹 Supporting Charity
Claire’s student Emma Roberts is supporting the Jigsaw charity by playing piano at their Christmas Carol Concert. A lovely cause and a wonderful opportunity—well done, Emma.
End of Term & Next Term Information
The last day of teaching for this term will be 17th December.
This is also the cut-off date if, for any reason, you wish to cancel your lessons for next term.
Teaching will resume on Monday the 5th of January.

If you would like to use your make-up credits, the available dates are:
Thursday 18th December (PM): Steve, Emily, Tiago
Friday 19th December (PM): Claire, Steve, Tiago
Friday 2nd January (AM): Claire, Emily
